Our mission, as a non-profit, is to educate and inspire young people and change how they see science and scientists and who they see doing science in the future - maybe themselves! We have created more than 70 SuperScientists in 8 different countries, given away 50,000+ cards, posters, calendars, comics and activity books and have had 70,000+ people through our museum exhibit so far. We’ve received project funding from small donors like yourself and large organisations and funders including the Canadian High Commission, the Sage Foundation, GENUS.Palaeo, The South African National Film and Video Foundation and NEWF (Nature Environment Wildlife Filmmakers).

We have a long list of schools, libraries and organisations that are interested in receiving SuperScientists materials. If you’d like to sponsor learners to receive materials and help us in our work to change how science and scientists are seen, please be in touch or donate below.

Donations in South Africa will receive a Section 18a certificate. Donations can also be made to a 501c3 in the USA.

If you would like to volunteer with us, please be in touch. There are a variety of things that you could do either remotely, through volunteering in Durban or in your own community.
